HD Skype on your telly-box!

Interesting news for Skype users out there.



It seems that Skype’s new 4.2 beta is going HD with 1280 x 720 video at 30fps. In addition, LG and Panasonic are set to unveil a range of TV’s with built in HD webcams and Skype capabilities. The software will enable voicemail, landline and mobile calls, and of course free Skype to Skype call features. And don’t worry, the mic’s are designed to pick you up even if you’re sat all the way over on your sofa. So get ready to plug your laptops into your 50inch LED telly and work from home like never before… if you've enough spare pocket money that is!
