Orchard's James has taken the time to thumb through the pages of the interweb and collate ten amazing websites for your consumption. Please take a minute to be wowed!

How many times have you seen a website and thought… WOW!!??

In the past it's invariably been the bells and whistles of a Flash sites or embedded Flash application that has blown us away. However, increasingly, HTML5 has been catching up at a rate of knotts. The innovative games and designs being created in HTML5 (that wouldn't have been possible in HTML) are really adding fuel to Steve Jobs' argument and offer a real window in to the future of digital interactivity.

In fact we've been so impressed that we felt it only right to thumb through the pages of the interweb and collate ten amazing examples for your consumption. Please take a minute to be wowed!

My Top 10 HTML5 Sites
(In no particular order)

1 futureofcarsharing.com
An interactive infographic showing car sharing stats. This site shows it is possible to show really dull information while keeping peoples' attention.

2 www.cuttherope.ie
Classic app game, adapted with HTML5 to run on your browser. Some very complex stuff going on behind the scenes.

3 www.vlog.it
Now that's a blog! Or should I say a "vlog"

4 www.marcorosella.com
Anyone of our candidate out there looking to do some self promotion, take a leaf out of this guy's book.

5 cinema-series.orange.fr/evenement/universeries/en/
This sites give an overview of several of the biggest US television series creators, but also of those who work alongside them, before they go on to develop their own fiction series. Content isn't the most interesting but the way they have done it is cool.

6 www.globaldoodle.com
A 16 square kilometre sheet of digital paper that anyone in the world can draw on; it basically turns your browser into a doodle pad.

7 www.wildernessdowntown.com
One you've probably heard of already, an interactive video for Arcade Fire's song "We Used to Wait". Type in your childhood street name and watch the mournful single become your own story.

8 www.klowdz.com
Completely pointless but weird and wonderful.

9 www.drawastickman.com
A nice little game, as interactive as it gets.

10 www.20thingsilearned.com
An illustrated book about how the evolution of browsers and the web is changing the way we work and play online.

Right... I've shown you mine, you show me yours?
Please drop us a comment and let us know of other impressive examples or, alternatively, tell us what you think of ours....
