How much help are SMEs really getting from government and elsewhere? This event will consider the options open to them and suggest ways in which companies can position themselves to capitalise on recovery after recession.

Presented by Mark Stuart, Head of Research at The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Mark contributes to the annual Marketing Trends Survey that The Institute develops in co-ordination with Ipsos MORI, and much of his work incorporates analysis and interpretations of the Croner Rewards Surveys that The Institute co-develops. He chairs panels and debates for The Institute and speaks regularly on the themes of innovation, sustainability, brands and communications. He is a featured contributor to The FT Handbook of Management (3rd Edition) and writes for Chief Executive Officer, Excellence in Leadership, Finance Director Europe and The Marketer.

This is a joint event with the Federation of Small Businesses.

Registration is from 6:00pm, the event starts at 7:00pm and is expected to finish at 8:00pm.
