MancDB January Meet Up - Andy Kirk
In this talk Andy will demonstrate the importance of following a design process in Data Visualisation, a topic that is central to the structure of his new book, ‘Data Visualisation: A Handbook for Data Driven Design’ (Sage).
Finding a successful approach to tackling any data visualisation challenge requires finding a way to organise your analytical and creative decision-making. This helps you to achieve effective results, more efficiently. To support his approach, Andy will describe two contrasting case-study projects, present some of the many decisions, options and choices that emerged through the process of development.
