Manchester Girl Geek Tea Party v.7 - Technology and Science Show & Tell - Share Your Enthusiasm

Bring along your friends, sisters, mums, daughters, aunties, cousins, and colleagues, anyone who might be interested. The aim is to make subjects like this accessible to all women whatever their background or experience. If you’d like to come but are of the male variety then you don’t have to worry, men are always welcome at geek girl events. There is one condition – you must be invited by or come along with a lady attending the event.

What gadget could you not live without? What wonder of science do you think the world should know about? Come to the next MGG Tea Party and share your knowledge with girls (and guys) who want to know more. We’re having a Girl Geek “Show and Tell” and you’re invited to come along, learn something new and teach others about the things you find fascinating.

Science, Engineering or Technology Wherever your interest lies, you’re welcome to talk for up to ten minutes (or less if you’d rather) on a subject of your choice. If you don’t have anything to share then just come along for the technology, a cup of tea and some cake.

There’ll be a relaxed atmosphere where you can share your thoughts and ideas with like minded ladies. If you’re new to technology and just want to learn more then come to listen and meet some great people.

Sign Up Now!

Book your place now! On the day the first 15 minutes will be set aside for tea, biscuits and booking your time slot. There’ll be a list of slots available when you arrive and they’ll allocate them on a first come first serve basis.

Bring along…?

•Your favourite mug
•Your favourite biscuits, cupcakes, tea, coffee (they’ll have the basics, but in case you fancy something slightly more interesting… :)
