Social Media Bandwagon. What's your business missing out on?

CING is delighted to announce that Lisa Tse, brain child behind Sweet Mandarin Chinese restaurant and winner of Gordon Ramsey’s Best Local Chinese Restaurant in the UK award, will be joining a panel of experts in social media and public relations to explain how creative businesses can make the most from this not-so-new communications platform.

Date: Monday, 5th September, 2011
Time: 6pm
Location: The Annex, Cornerhouse, 70 Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 5NH
Price: Free!!

Joining Lisa will be Bruce Thomas, Managing Director of modern-english - an interactive agency specialising in the development of digital solutions for the entertainment and fashion industries. Bruce has advised some of the top UK and international entertainment brands including EMI, Sony Music and the BBC. Working with high profile acts such as Pink Floyd, Pete Tong and Primal Scream, Bruce is well aware of the implications that social commerce has on his clients and brands in general. Bruce has also developed his own ‘LEAD strategy’, designed for maximising the commercial impact of social media.

And to add a PR perspective, Lisa Ashurst, owner of Ashurst Communications and former head of communications at property developers Urban Splash, will also be on hand, providing insights from her 14 year career in PR and communications and discussing how social media has effected her work.

The evening’s proceedings will be chaired by Jon Monk, development manager of The Business Group Salford (formerly the Chapel Street Business Group), and they're after your questions ahead of the event so please fill in your question when you register.

The great news is that this event is free but you need register to attend as places are very limited. To reserve your place simply RSVP - but make sure you are able to attend as they don’t want people to miss out!!
