We're currently recruiting for a Junior Graphic Designer on behalf of our client based in Manchester.
The company are an in-house retailer specialising in a wide range of clothing associated with sports and lifestyle. It's a well known, long established, international sports / fashion brand. Their apparel retails both online, with their own site and 3rd party online retail partners, and also through their stores. With a reputation for quality and style, their marketing team are charged with the perpetuation of the brand values across all channels.
As the internal team are responsible for the entire marketing mix, the individuals in the team get to work on a wide range of disciplines, from brochures and advertising, POS, signage, brand work, landing pages, digital assets, social media content and more. No two days are the same, making for an exciting role, perfect for the individual who likes to be challenged. However they have created a supportive and relaxed environment that encourages initiative, provides training, and rewards commitment.
They are looking for an individual to join the team who finds this opportunity interesting, exciting even, someone who doesnt want to be stuck in a hum drum role doing the same thing continuously. They need someone who is a Graphic Designer by experience, but generally creative online and offline. This is a junior role so highly talented graduates will be considered.
Understandably the successful candidate will need to demonstrate good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop), a sensible awareness of how brands portray themselves in the social space, and good grammar / attention to detail. A good design degree, and a minimum of a couple of years experience employed in a design role are required. Any interest in fashion would be a real bonus.
