NUX Camp 2018
27/04/2018 | Leeds
Join NUX for a full day of UX workshops this April!
The day will include four thought-provoking workshops from different industry experts, including:
Anna Dahlstrom: Storytelling Methods for UX Design
Anna Dahlström is a London based Swedish UX designer and the founder of UX Fika. Over the last 16 years she’s worked client side for the likes of the BBC, for startups and agencies on a large variety of brands and projects, from websites and apps to TV UIs. She’s a regular speaker and is right now focused on helping organisations and startups with UX related matters as well as finishing off a book for O’Reilly about Storytelling in Design.
Hilary Brownlie: Talking Forms
Hilary has over a decade working in user research and design, mostly in the public sector. She has a love of fonts & maps and really does think robots are the future (so is making friends with them now).
Sarah Richards: Content Design 101
Sarah owns the Content Design Centre, a small agency providing training and consulting in content strategy and content design for organisations around the world.
Sarah spent 10 years working in digital government, ending as Head of Content Design for the UK Government Digital Service. There she created and developed content design as a discipline for the GOV.UK website and has authored Content Design, a book for anyone interested in creating user-centred content.
Graham Odds: Make Your Own VUI
Graham is a designer working on complex systems across desktop, web and mobile. As Head of UX Design at Scott Logic, he works primarily with financial services and energy trading institutions, creating everything from direct-to-consumer investment applications to research, trading and analysis tools. He delights in pushing at the boundaries of the possible to discover beautiful, effective solutions to problems.
