Tim Harbour - Designing for Crisis - The Hebden Bridge Floods
Tim has been designing & building user-focussed digital things for nearly 20 years. Now based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, he's also co-founder of the 10 day Wuthering Bytes technology Festival.
When Hebden Bridge suffered devastating floods on Boxing Day 2015, a tiny team of web folks put their skills to work to help their community. This is the story of what they made, what it does and, the difference it yadeto peoples lives and the insights they gained into designing for crisis situations.
