Tech for Good: Games
23/05/2018 | Manchester
Gaming often gets a bad rap. But how is gaming being used to make a positive impact?
In the usual format, there will be a selection of speakers; lightning talks; drinks and food; and socialising time.
Confirmed talks so far:
Christina Fowler - Christina is a User Experience Designer at the BBC, making fun, educational and inspiring experiences for children of all ages and needs. Her passion lies in working with her team and talking to the audience to craft thoughtful products.
Christina will be sharing CBBC’s strategy for making all games inclusive, and will share insights into the planning and research used to ensure no child is excluded from accessing games.
There will be "lightning" talks on the night, where anyone will have a chance to speak for up to 3 minutes on something that helps more people do good with tech.
