Our client are a market leading retail business, and they have a great opportunity for an experienced analyst to join their eCommerce and Marketing team in Manchester.
This role is within a new team created with the aim of enhancing their online and offline marketing capabilities and driving their commercial marketing performance, providing the impetus behind their customer acquisition, cross-selling and retention strategies.
You will develop a detailed knowledge of their customers and their customers’ behaviour, building segments, profiles and critical paths through their sites, to help improve conversions; measure the effectiveness of online and offline marketing channels and detail the interaction of each channel; provide detailed, impartial, timely, accurate, relevant and usable analysis; provide detailed, informed analysis of our website performance and customer behaviour to support internal initiatives; and deliver key commercial reports to the business.
The role requires an experienced analytics professional, with strong knowledge and experience gained within commercial environments, with a good knowledge of SQL. Ideally this experience will have been gained within marketing and / or eCommerce environments also. Experience of using eCommerce software such as IBM Websphere, Ominuture Searchandising tool, Repsonsys and Coremetrics would be beneficial, although training with specific tools and package will be provided. A confident self-starter, you will be able to work well within a team as well as under your own initiative.
