#OrchardShoots April Round Up
Whilst it’s wonderful that the sun is shining - sadly, it indicates that the end of the football season is nigh. *sheds small tear*
As we get into one of the last Premier League weekends, lets take a look at the current #OrchardShoots league standings.
Holding ground in the all important 1st place, Pat Hynes’ Benfica Babes are looking like they may be our 17/18 champions, collecting a strong 91 points last week.
14 points behind the leaders is Kucharski’s ‘qchars’ in second place with 2041 points. After an incredibly strong week last week, could they catch Hynes’ up in the last few weeks?
Our January round up warned the top 4 to watch out for The Chutney Ferrets who after Christmas began to climb their way up the table, and we weren’t wrong! Dean Elliot’s side have continued to climb their way up to 3rd place. Still a way behind Benfica Babes, but not a bad season for the Ferrets who have clambered their way up the table.
Things looked promising for Dave Howarth’s ‘Pep’s Bald Head’ in January, however they have fallen down the table. Not where you want to be, as the end of the season approaches!
Amazingly, ‘Smack My Ritch-ie up’ are up in 4th place - the boys in black and white weren’t contenders for the beloved #OrchardShoots trophy back in January, but they’re finishing the season amongst the top dogs - but just how far can they go?
Once again, our Orchard representatives are not worth mentioning. Maybe next year, team.
Stay tuned, as in a matter of weeks we will be presenting one team with some well deserved silverware as the new #OrchardShoots champions.
